Hello - I'm Salem
I am happy you are here! In case you are wondering...
When not doing this, I like to golf, play with my granddaughter, garden, cook, walk, lift weights, drink wine, and hang out with my BFF, my handsome husband.
I founded Silver Moon Consulting in 2018, helping organizations, people, and myself bring more light to their corner of the world.
..... But how did I get here? Well, it wasn't a linear path!
Every consultant has a story and a background. When I was a little girl, I dreamed of being the person in the bank's drive-through window, handing out money and lollipops. My 18+ years in financial services fulfilled that dream.
I was blessed to have four children who are now grown. My mantra is Keep Em Alive till 25 and almost all of them have made it! I was young and grew up with my kids. I outLIVED the critics, outLOVED the cynics, and outLASTED my weariness to arrive at this next chapter of my life with energy and vision to spare.
I have spent many years organizing everything from worship experiences and retreats to business networking groups and mentoring classes. I have served on nonprofit boards from wind-up to wind-down and helped friends and those I mentor navigate accomplishments and disappointments.
In this last section of my life, I want to help people, primarily women, become the gifts they are to the world—to borrow a quote to help them let their light shine.
Finally, I desire to help organizations and nonprofits navigate change and be the most effective in their chosen mission and vision.
